Festivals
There are 3 major Folk Festivals in Wiltshire and many more which occasionally have folk content:
- Chippenham Folk Festival
- The Trowbridge Village Pump Festival
- The Larmer Tree.
All these have a slightly different approach to Folk and cover the broadest spectrum of music from traditional to contemporary and Rock.
Chippenham Folk Festival.
The traditional one. 35 years on and still being run by a group of dedicated volunteers. It has a really nice town centre site with over 200+ events in one weekend !

The Larmer Tree.
Fabulous Festival near Salisbury with a huge range of folk and mainstream acts. It maybe sold out already, so check their website
Dates : 11th - 15th July 2007.

The Trowbridge Village Pump Festival.
A great Festival all on one site, with lots of great bands from Trad to Rock.

Tisbury Folk Festival.
Tisbury Folk Festival is a brand new Festival taking place in the small Wiltshire Town of Tisbury on the weekend of 14 - 16th September 2007.
