Tinker's Bag

There are 3 major Folk Festivals in Wiltshire and many more which occasionally have folk content:

  • Chippenham Folk Festival
  • The Larmer Tree.
  • The Village Pump Festival

Each has a slightly different approach to Folk and cover the broadest spectrum of music from traditional to contemporary and Rock.

Chippenham Folk Festival.

The traditional one. 41 years on and still being run by a group of dedicated volunteers. It has a really nice town centre site with over 200+ events in one weekend !

The Trowbridge Village Pump Festival.


We are pleased to be able to announce the revival of this great Festival in Wiltshire. The Venue has changed and the management too!
Being held at the White Horse Country Park near Westbury, it promises to be one spectacul;ar event, The Dates are 20th-22nd July 2012
